More than 500 intensivists
Increasing the skill of our Ukrainian colleagues on this mobile technology makes them more nimble in an austere clinical setting, and allows them to accurately diagnose serious illness sooner. Since PoCUS is often a novel practice for Ukrainian doctors, we remain available to them after their workshop for remote training and support.
This intervention is scaleable and precise, targeting a specific need in both civilian and military trauma care. This makes our work an achievable, effective, and sustainable humanitarian support that never goes to waste.
Here you see our doctors practicing their new skills on each other — one day, we held our workshop in a bomb shelter! To support our work, visit www.helpukrainianhospitals.com and donate.
