More than 500 intensivists
Rom A. Stevens, a professor of anesthesiology from Chicago, came to Ukraine for a third time during the full-scale war to train more than 100 doctors in point-of-care ultrasound diagnostics and field blood transfusion.
He visited Lviv, Dnipro, Kalush, Kosiv and Rivne. And this is just the beginning of a bigger story!
The professor wants to return to Ukraine again in August to train at least 100 more Ukrainian anesthesiologists because each trained doctor will be able to treat 2,000 patients each year.
We need to pay for his flight and accommodations to make this visit possible.
