Volodymyr Dieiev, MD, PhD is a family doctor with additional specialization in rehabilitation. He holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine at Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute of Traditional and Alternative Medicine and serves as a medical director of Dr. Dieiev’s Clinic, Inc., which he founded in 1998.

Dr. Dieiev and his team help patients with post-traumatic stress disorders. Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion he realized importance of addressing war-related mental health illnesses.  He uses a variety of non-pharmacologic interventions influenced by training he received by a USAID-funded program with Frank Pucelik. This in combination with treatment of underlying somatic disorders creates an opportunity for non-pharmacologuc management of war-related traumatic stress.
