Vadim Pirsky, MD is a traumatologist (orthopaedic surgeon) at Dnipro City Hospital #16.  He and his team have received up to one hundred wounded soldiers transported to Dnipro from the battlefield in a 24-hour shift. Despite limited resources Dr. Pirsky and his team of surgeons have been able to triage and stabilize high volumes of war-related critically injured patients.
